ANSWERS

For Question 1,    the correct answer is A. Under Rule 8.1b a player is allowed to move loose impediments and take practice swings in the penalty area so long as the player does not improve the conditions affecting the stroke.

For Question 2,    the correct answer is D. Under Rule 1.3b, if two or more players deliberately agree to ignore any Rule or penalty, they are disqualified. If Bob had said nothing to Randy, they both could have continued play, but if a penalty is recognized and addressed by conversation, then the penalty must be applied.

For Question 3, the correct answer is D. Once a player's ball is holed, he has concluded play for that hole and playing a wrong ball is irrelevant.
