ANSWERS For Question 1, the correct answer is A. Under Rule 10.2b (2), the player, and when the player has a partner, the partner (under Rule 23.5a), may touch the putting green with a hand, foot or anything he is holding, but must not improve the conditions affecting the stroke in breach of Rule 8.1a. 2018 Rules of Golf = 2 stroke penalty. For Question 2, the correct answer is B. Under Rule 11.1a, if a player's ball in motion accidentally hits any person or outside influence there is no penalty to any player. This is true even if the ball hits the player, his caddy, or his equipment. The old, 2018 Rules of Golf = 1 stroke penalty. For Question 3, the correct answer is C. Under Rule 13.1c (2) shoe damage to the green is repairable by the player. 2018 Rules of Golf = 2 stroke penalty. Sorry, can't repair aeration holes, but if your ball lies in one, you can place your ball as near as possible to where is ball lies without penalty, but can repair those holes on your line of putt, or anywhere else.
